One-on-one Online training in Linux system administration and programming skills
What we do
Have a problem with your Linux installation? Don't know how to do something? Always wanted to learn but the books are too big to read and you learn better through dedicated instruction? Fear not! This is why we exist. We will provide dedicated training, one-on-one, hour-after-hour on any Linux/Unix system administration topic you want to learn more about. We can also teach you programming skills - C, bash, Python, C++ and Java are just some of the languages we can help you with!
How it works
It's simple! You get in touch with us, we discuss your needs, you purchase any amount of hours and then we connect online on Skype or Google Voice. You will need a webcam (this is optional); we provide a Linux system you can login into or we can work on yours. We also use a tablet you can see in real-time to explain concepts and can exchange any electronic format in real time to help convey ideas or solutions to you.

Suppose you have a system administration problem - maybe a script you need to do a job or you need to set up a service. Or, maybe you would like to know what the best tool for the job is. We can help you with all of that! We can write scripts and programs, help you understand firewall rules or log parsing. We can help you set up monitoring of machines or services. With all that, we can also teach you how so you don't depend on external help all the time (and it will cost you less in the long run!)
